O Merciful beloved son of King Dasharatha, Lord Rama!
Thou art Kinsman of the forlorn and fallen ones and
destroyer of demonic qualities

Sai, U bent Rama, de geliefde Heer met de prachtige blauwe huidskleur,
de vernietiger van slechte eigenschappen.

Danava: demons, bad qualities 
Bhanjana: the Lord Who breaks the bonds, Who destroys attachments
Rama: the Avatar of Treta Yuga (He was the embodiment of sathya (truth) and dharma (justice)
Treta Yuga: the silver age; the second period in de cycle of four (yuga)
Sai: Devine mother
Shyamala(la); Shyam(a): Name for Rama and Krishna, meaning: Beloved Lord with the dark or blue skin; the blue color to be found in the elements of unfathomable depths as the ocean and firmament
Lal(a): Beloved child, beloved son
Komala: tender, gentle, delicate, lovely
He: respectful call upon God
Jaya, Jai: glories to the Lord, honor, victory
Dasharatha: Father of Rama
Nandana: Son
Daya: compassion, gift, endowment
Sagara: ocean, sea
Dino, Dina: the poor, the helpless, the weak, the needy
Ke, Ka, Ki, Ko: belong to
Prabhu: Lord, Master, strong, powerful
